It’s clear that the Republican message and conservative ideas didn't lose the day on November 6, 2012, but that we were outworked on the ground and have not effectively expanded our base by bringing in new young and minority voters to the Party.

While I supported our national and statewide Republican candidates, I realize and support the need for outreach to nontraditional voting blocks and inclusiveness.

The Republican Party must be founded on ideas of small government, fiscal responsibility and civil liberties.

Our commonwealth and our country are at a tipping point, and as a woman, local elected official, as a new mom, I believe my life experiences and core values encompass many of the same experiences and values that will bring new faces and new voters to our Party.
